Pump Alert

Diagnostic Code:

Pump Alert

Diagnostic Code:

Pump Alert

This means Vector senses the water pump needs attention.

Troubleshooting steps

Unplug your system before performing any service or maintenance.

Ensure the water is clean and sediment-free

Empty the water tank. Then, refill the tank with at least three gallons of water.

Then, plug the system in, and turn your system on.

Perform a factory reset

Hold the power button while plugging your system in. (Make sure to hold it for at least 10 seconds.)

The LED Info Bar will display the “Normal Boot” pattern. This signifies your system was successfully reset. (Some models may also emit a “Beep.”)

Ensure all internal cables are correctly connected.

**Only perform this step if you are an authorized service technician.

Turn Vector off before proceeding with this step.

Separate Vector’s tank from the main body. Release the (2) clasps on each side of Vector. Then, slowly pull the tank approximately 4 inches forward.

There are (6) cables in total (3 on the left and 3 on the right.) Make sure they are all tightly connected.

Tuck the cables away and slide Vector’s tank back into the main body. Secure the (2) clasps on the system’s exterior, and then power your system on.

Plug Vector back in, and power on the system. The diagnostic code will clear automatically if the cables are correctly connected.

Open the tank and inspect the pump

**Only perform this step if you are an authorized service technician.

You will need to separate Vector’s tank from the body for this step. Release the (2) clasps on each side of Vector.

Then, slowly pull the tank approximately 4 inches forward so you can disconnect the (6) cables. There are three on the left side and three on the right side.

Once the cables are disconnected, fully remove the water tank and place it somewhere secure.

To open the tank, unbolt the Fog Chamber from the main tank.

Now, you will be able to access the pump. Verify nothing is blocking the pump intake.

Once you clear any potential blockages, reattach the fog chamber, reconnect the (6) cables, and then secure the tank back into Vector’s body. Then, refill the tank with at least 3 gallons of water and power the system back on.

Once the system is on, turn on the mist feature to verify if the “Pump Alert” code is still active.
